When he is not working, Anthony dedicates all of his energy to aerobatic competition, air show flying and air racing. His goal is to compete at the highest level while embarking on new achievements and etching his name into the history of aviation.

  • Reach for the Sky We've Got the Ground - due to the COVID-19 epidemic of 2020, there has been economic fallout which has hampered many countries' ability to respond effectively to the pandemic's health and economic effects. During the pandemic, sponsored Epic Fuels pilot Anthony flew over 6,000 nautical miles stopping into over 44 locations across North America in only 18 days to deliver much needed PPE (Personal Protective equipment). Anthony accomplished this task flying in his Pitts S1. For more information on the Epic Tour check out the link here: Reach for the Sky. We've Got the Ground (epicfuels.com/reach)

  • In 2014, as a rookie, Anthony placed 4th at the US National Aerobatic Championships out of 14 in his category. Incredibly, the notable win was done in a borrowed aircraft that he had never flown in competition prior.

  • In 2015, he raced at the National Championship Air Races located in Reno, Nevada as a rookie and placed 2nd. This was the first time in history that an African American competed in the race and placed podium.

  • In 2016, returned to the National Championship Air Races and finished 2nd, once again.

  • In 2017, Anthony made his debut when he was given the opportunity to perform at the Miramar Air Show featured in San Diego California in front of 750,000 fans.

  • In 2018, Anthony was featured to be the first African American pilot to performer in the Arctic Circle. The performance was held in Alaska at JBER Air Force Base and he was flying his Pitts from San Diego to Alaska.

  • The same year, Anthony also finished 2nd at the National Championship Air Races.

  • In 2019, Anthony finished 3rd at the USA National Aerobatic Championships in Salina Kansas.

  • In 2019, Anthony set a world record as the first pilot to ever fly beneath a jumping monster truck. Oshinuga successfully flew under Heavy D of the hit Discovery Channel series DIESEL BROTHERS, who was jumping the Monster Jam® BroDozer truck.

Anthony is a relative newcomer to the sport of aerobatics, air show and air racing. However, the progress he has made in such a limited amount of time has been nothing short of outstanding. His disciplined work ethic and raw talent have helped him to improve by leaps and bounds over the last year and will continue propel him in the years to come.
